You KNOW that I think books (and the writers of those books) are some of the most life giving things on the planet....but why all this pink? This is what I wrote in the introduction to my new book 'Pink Benediction':

"A lot of these paintings were done during the recent pandemic. I hoped that my best work would build community and foster a sense of us all being in this together. I began to really embrace the color pink in my work because in medical parlance "to pink up" is to regain health. My hope, as you browse and read this book is that you will feel that I am accompanying you in this life...and my benediction is:

"In whatever way you need to, may you pink up"
