"Why I Paint Interiors" I have thought a lot about this question. I think that I am drawn to this subject matter because it is visible evidence of who people are. It is a collection of clues, a 'graphic novel', if you will, of a person's life. And as I get older, I have some time to think about what clues I want to leave behind and what my environs 'say' about me. And let's face it...being me, is to constantly feel torn between the love of empty, minimal spaces (the beautiful open desert that I live in) and my 'magpie spirit' that loves when she encounters a fellow 'magpie maximalist'!
